Propelio: our own proposal platform, built end to end.
Propelio is our own product, proposal software for freelancers, studios and agencies. We built all of it ourselves, from the marketing site that brings people in to the workspace where proposals are written, sent and signed, so that every part was designed to work with the rest.

Closing the gap between a great conversation and a sent proposal.
Propelio starts from a simple observation: freelancers and small studios lose new work in the gap between a great conversation and a sent proposal. The proposal takes time to put together, and once it has gone, it can be hard to know whether anyone has read it.
Propelio is proposal software that closes that gap, with templates you can personalise in minutes, a client link for reading and signing, and open tracking so you always know when to follow up. Because it is our own product, we built both halves of it ourselves: the marketing site that explains it and brings people in, and the workspace where proposals are written, sent and signed.
Two apps, built to work as one.
The marketing site, propelio.app, is built in Next.js and hosted on Vercel, with Playfair Display headings and Inter body text giving it an editorial feel. It runs to dozens of pages, from feature pages and use cases to a library of industry templates and a blog written in markdown. Every page has its own metadata and structured data, and the site has a sitemap, a robots file and an llms.txt so that search engines and AI tools can read it, with a social image generated for each kind of page.
The workspace is where the work happens. It is a React single-page app built on Supabase, which provides the database, the sign-in, the file storage and the edge functions behind it, with Stripe taking care of per-seat billing after a 14-day trial. The two apps are joined up, too: choosing "use this template" on the website opens the workspace sign-up with that template already selected, and the visitor's currency, pounds, dollars or euros, travels with them from one to the other.
The proposal editor is built from 15 types of block, from heroes and pricing tables to timelines and FAQs, with themes, inline rich text, undo and redo, and autosave. A lock stops two teammates editing the same proposal at once. When a proposal is ready, the client receives a public link that can be protected with a password and an expiry date, and from it they can choose a pricing tier, sign, or decline.
Signing is drawn or typed, and each signature is saved with an audit trail of the IP address, the device, a hash of the content that was signed and the time, so there is always a record of what was agreed and when. For teams there are four roles with permissions enforced in the database, clients with several contacts, a media library, brand colours and fonts, and an analytics page for owners and admins.

The details behind the build.
Every decision made to help Propelio win more customers and stay easy to manage.
- 01Trust
A signature that stands up
Drawn or typed signatures are saved with the IP address, the device, a hash of the content and the time, so there is a record of exactly what was agreed and when.
- 02Client experience
Easy for the client
Clients open a link, which can be protected with a password and an expiry date, choose a pricing tier if there are options, and sign or decline, without creating an account.
- 03Teams
Built for more than one person
Four roles with permissions enforced in the database, a lock that stops two people editing the same proposal at once, and per-seat billing from one seat to 25.
- 04Search
A site built to be found
The marketing site has per-page metadata, structured data, a sitemap, an llms.txt and generated social images, and its analytics store nothing in the browser until a visitor accepts the cookie banner.
Built to perform long after launch day.
- One
- Step from website to workspace
- A "use this template" link on the website opens the workspace sign-up with that template already chosen, so a visitor goes from reading to trying in a single step.
- 3
- Currencies, set automatically
- Pounds, dollars or euros are chosen from the visitor's country and shared between the website and the workspace, so prices look right wherever they are.
- 14 days
- To try it before paying
- A 14-day trial leads into per-seat billing handled by Stripe, from one seat to 25.
