A website to match their new buildings, and a monthly plan to grow it.
We built The Spectrum VR Group's original website. When the business later moved into new and refurbished buildings, the site no longer matched it, so we redesigned it around the glass facade of the new offices and began monthly SEO and AI search work to bring the right customers to it.

A website that no longer matched the business, and no plan to grow it.
We built The Spectrum VR Group's original website. When the business then moved into brand new and refurbished buildings, the site was left behind: its images, services and content were out of date, and it had not been kept up to date as the business changed around it.
There was a practical problem behind the look as well. The site was not getting enough views, and not enough data was being tracked to show where enquiries were coming from, which made it hard to know what to improve.
The original build also had no ongoing plan behind it. A website needs regular attention to keep its content, services and search visibility moving, so agreeing a monthly plan with their team became as much a part of the project as the redesign itself.
A glass-inspired block theme, rebuilt from scratch.
We started with the foundations. The new site is a clean, modern custom WordPress block theme, written by us, which gives us full control of the code and leaves out the page builder bloat that slows a site down. Everything was rebuilt, content included, and we set up 301 redirects so nothing from the old site was lost.
The design came from the building itself. The glass look is based on the facade of their new offices, in their brand colours, and we extended the palette with the right blue for calls to action so they stand out. The client supplied professional photography, which we built the pages around.
So that the site stays easy to look after, we created block patterns that make new pages quick to put together, and all of the content is editable by their team. Their marketing team was a great help throughout.
Once the site was live we set up Google Analytics to track which location, Essex or Kent, gets more phone calls, and added schema and meta data so search engines can understand it. Monthly SEO and AI search (GEO) work followed, with single service pages, location pages and blog content that supports the services.

The details behind the build.
Every decision made to help The Spectrum VR Group win more customers and stay easy to manage.
- 01Design
Taken from the building
The glass look is lifted straight from the facade of their new offices, so the website feels like part of the same brand, with a blue added to the palette to make the calls to action stand out.
- 02WordPress
A block theme without the bloat
Because we write the theme ourselves, we control every line of code, and with no page builder underneath, the site stays fast.
- 03Editing
Patterns for quick new pages
Block patterns let their team put new pages together quickly, and because all of the content is editable they do not need a developer to keep the site up to date.
- 04Tracking and SEO
Built to measure and to rank
Google Analytics shows whether Essex or Kent receives more phone calls, and schema and meta data are set up so search engines can understand the site.
Built to perform long after launch day.
- 2.7x
- More keywords in Google's top 10
- Since we began SEO, alongside the single service pages, location pages and blog content we have added each month.
- 2.8x
- More organic traffic
- An estimate of visits from Google search compared with before we began SEO, and the work continues every month.
- Up
- Enquiries
- Since the new site and the monthly plan, the business has been getting more enquiries.
